Domestic gold prices continued to increase by VND200,000 per tael while world gold prices remained unchanged 

compared to the same time last session, the central exchange rate reversed to increase by VND5.


In this morning's trading session (February 19), two domestic gold brands continued to increase by VND100,000-200,000 per tael, 

the central exchange rate reversed to increase by VND5.


At 9:00 a.m., the world's precious metal was at USD2,895/ounce, unchanged compared to the same time last session. 

This price is equivalent to VND89.5 million/tael when converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank.


However, domestic gold prices adjusted up slightly. Specifically, Saigon Jewelry Company, Phu Quy Company and Doji 

Company all listed the price of SJC gold from 88.30-90.80 million VND/tael, an increase of 200,000 VND/tael.


In the same direction, the price of SJC 999.9 ring gold also increased by 200,000 VND/tael, currently trading 

around 88.30-90.60 million VND/tael.


At Phu Quy Company, the listed ring gold price is from 89.20-90.70 million VND/tael (buy in/sell out), an increase

 of 100,000 VND compared to the previous closing price.


Currently, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company is announcing the price of plain round ring gold from 89.25-90.80 million VND/tael 

(buy in/sell out), an increase of 200,000 VND per tael.


This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 24,602 VND/USD, up 5 VND compared to the previous session.


With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank adjusted the USD exchange rate to 25,270-25,660 VND/USD, up 20 VND; 

BIDV and VietinBank bought at 25,300 VND/USD and sold at 25,660 VND/USD, up 10 VND compared to the previous session.


Eximbank also decreased by 30 VND, currently this bank listed the USD exchange rate from 25,320-25,710 VND/USD (buy/sell)./.
